Once Again to the World of Children...!!

        Our second phase of internship began on 10th June 2024 (Monday). I was allotted the same school (NSS GHS Pandalam). With much pleasure and excitement, I went back to the place where I got my first experience of being a teacher. It was with a bunch of memories and mirthful moments that I began the day. Adding to my surprize, I got the same students as well who are now promoted to the 9th standard.

 It was a routine school week and we had morning assembly on Monday and Thursday. Officials from the Health Department addressed the learners on Thursday and made them aware of the increased chances of contracting epidemics in the present climate and the need to remain hygienic to prevent the same.

 

From the Morning Assembly

     I began the first unit "Hours and Years" from the revised English course book for the 9th standard and finished discussing the first chapter "Half a Day", which is a deep reflection on time and memory. The learners welcomed me warmly. And it was indeed a pleasure interacting with the same naughty little minds after a long break. Eagerly awaiting more vivid experiences, here I am moving on to another week...!!
